Gxc85, thanks for the IE tip. That works for me as well. I tried Firefox only at present, only that didn't. Must be some legacy browser hangover stuff.
Don't really want IE running anywhere on my network, so a proper fix would be most welcome.

Hi,
I take the exact same upshot.
The Exchange portal does not piece of work with Chrome, Edge or Firefox on unlike computers including out of organization computers. I even tried Firefox on Fedora.
The other admin portals do work with modern browsers though.
